Locally Led Adaptation to climate breakdown
This paper reviews the prospects for Locally Led Adaptation (LLA) to climate breakdown. Alongside a review of the LLA principles, national instruments, institutions, finance, ‘cross-cutting factors’ of equity, inclusion and climate justice, it explores the potential of faith and faith-based actors towards realising just and effective climate action for the world’s most vulnerable populations. It concludes with an examination of the risks and barriers, and ways they may be overcome.
