The impact of monthly giving
Knowing there’s a certain amount of regular funds given to Islamic Relief each month, allows us to make better-informed decisions.
For example, making sure there are flood-resistant water pumps in Bangladesh ahead of expected flash floods during the monsoon season (March-September), or providing vital winter materials – like blankets, sweaters and mattresses to protect families from the cold in Bosnia, when we know drops in temperature can have dire consequences for the most vulnerable.
Planning ahead is important, and we can only do this because of your monthly giving.
Give regularly for emergencies
Your regular donations also allow us to respond quickly during humanitarian emergencies. They mean we have funds available which are given directly towards unexpected disasters and conflicts, to provide essential items such as food parcels and medical equipment through our teams on the ground working in more than 45 countries.

The reward in Islam for giving regularly
Regular donations also equal regular rewards, for yourself. Donations given as Sadaqah purely for the sake of Allah, are multiplied 700 times. The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain, which grows seven ears; in each ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies His reward for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and all-Knowing.
Qur’an I 2:261
Not only will you be helping people get regular meals, access to education and clean water, you can also ensure your own regular blessings, bi’thnillah, by the blessings of Allah.
Consistency can elevate a deed even if it is small. It also ensures ongoing reward. If you are prevented from completing a consistent deed due to a valid reason, you are rewarded as though you had completed the action.
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “If a person becomes sick or travels, he will have the same reward as when he was healthy or not travelling.” [Bukhari]
Consistency also helps you get closer to Allah:
“My slave does not draw nearer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the farā’id (obligatory deeds) that I have imposed upon him. And My slave continues to draw close to Me with the nawāfil (voluntary deeds) until such that I love him. And when I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. If he were to ask Me, I would give him. If he were to seek refuge with Me, I would give him refuge.” [Muslim]
Regular giving not only helps us to serve families in need, but it also means you will gain regular blessings and rewards, InshaAllah.
Thank you for standing by the sides of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
