Speaking from northern Albania, Islamic Relief’s CEO shares a special Ramadan message for our incredible supporters, partners and colleagues around the world.
“As we start Ramadan, my brothers and sisters, we see what’s happening all across the world,” says Waseem Ahmad, taking a quick break from helping Islamic Relief teams in a Ramadan distribution. The team are providing food parcels to over 100 vulnerable families in Kukes, Albania.
“Children are dying of hunger. Climate change, war, conflict, have really created suffering for the people this Ramadan. May Allah (SWT) be with them and help them all.”
This Ramadan, Islamic Relief will free families in scores of countries from worry about where their next meal will come from.
“Thanks to your generosity in giving donations to Islamic Relief… Islamic Relief is committed to reach those who need us the most in this Ramadan and beyond. Jazakallah khairan.”
Last year, over 892,000 people in 31 countries benefited from wholesome food distributed by Islamic Relief, thanks to your generosity.
